Ongoing Projects

BOOK DRIVES: The Education book drives collect books and magazines for donationa to the Northwest Regional Library in Coral Springs, local schools, a laundromat, and the Women in Distress library that was established by the Club. (Education)

BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION: General Mills Boxtops for Education are collected and donated to an elementary school, which refunds them for materials to enrich a classroom. (Education)

CAN TAB RECYCLING: Through Conservation, can tabs are collected and donated to Ronald McDonald House, which uses them for funding to help defray housing costs for the families of hospitalized children..  (Conservation)

CURBSIDERS: This group keeps a section of Coral Hills Dr. in Coral Springs litter free as a Conservation community service in cooperation with the Broward County Adopt-A-Street Program. (Conservation)

HEARTS AND BEARS: Fabric hearts and bears are sewn and stuffed. The hearts are donated to the local hospital for the use of cardiac patients; the bears are given to the pediatric department. (Home Life)

HEIFER INTERNATIONAL: This is an international non-profit, world hunger organization whose goal is ending poverty and hunger in a sustainable fashion. through the gift of animals.  Fundraising is done to provide a donation. (International Outreach)

RELAY FOR LIFE, AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY: The Club sponsors a team for the local relay event. Additionally, a loose coin collection is donated, usually totaling about $250.00.  (Home Life)
